Saying goodbye to a beloved companion is one of the most difficult decisions a pet family will ever face.
At Tails Farewell, we work with a network of trusted veterinarians and end-of-life care providers who share our commitment to compassion, dignity, and personalized care.

How do I know when it is time?
Is my pet suffering?
What can I expect during euthanasia?
What happens afterward?
Our veterinary partners provide compassionate guidance to help families navigate these difficult questions and make informed decisions with confidence and peace of mind.

Dr. Yvonne Lee
Dr. Lee grew up in Toronto and discovered the field of veterinary medicine during her veterinary co-op placement. She also worked at the Toronto Humane Society which confirmed her love of animals and medicine.
A graduate of the University of Sydney School of Veterinary Science, Dr. Lee is focused exclusively on the care of dogs and cats and has over 20 years of experience in the veterinary field.

Dr. Michelle Lam
The story of Dr. Michelle starts with being both a veterinarian and a pet owner. Having been on both sides of the euthanasia process, she knows how difficult it is to make that decision and to lose your best friend. Many years ago, she lost her beloved rescue greyhound to a very painful illness and made the difficult decision to euthanize unexpectedly at the specialist’s office. Even as a veterinarian she wished she had been provided with more guidance and the reassurance that she made the right decision.

Dr. Patricia Khor
Dr. Patricia Khor of York Mobile Veterinary Services believes that every pet deserves to be treated with kindness, dignity, and compassion throughout their life, especially at the end. She understands how deeply people love their pets and how difficult it can be to face the possibility of saying goodbye.
Together with the team at York Mobile Veterinary Services, Dr. Patricia is here to support families through every stage of the journey.
